Sitout collects no data.
The short version
- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
- Everything Sitout stores stays on the organizer's iPhone. We never receive any of it.
What Sitout stores, and where
The players you add (a name and, only if you choose, M/F for the mixed-doubles rule and a rating), your courts, rounds, scores and standings, and with Sitout Pro, saved seasons and group history. All of it is stored on your iPhone. Sitout has no server and no account, and it doesn't send this data anywhere.
Like other app data, it can be included in your iPhone's own backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to a computer). Those backups belong to you and your Apple Account.
Other people's names
The players are usually other people, and they never use Sitout themselves. Their names stay on the organizer's phone and leave it only when the organizer shares a card or a file. First names or nicknames work fine if you prefer.
What we collect
Nothing. Sitout has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. In the App Store's privacy labels this is listed as "Data Not Collected".
Purchases
Sitout Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment and tells Sitout only whether Pro is active. We never see your name, email address or payment details.
Sharing and export
Share cards (for a round or for the standings), the DUPR CSV export and a night sent to a co-organizer's phone (a .sitout file) are made on your iPhone. They leave it only when you share them, and they go only where you send them, for example by AirDrop or Messages. Once shared, the app or service you sent them to handles them under its own policy.
Notifications
If you use the round timer, Sitout asks once for permission to notify you, and schedules a "time's up" alert on your iPhone. The alert is created and delivered on the phone itself; nothing is sent to a server.
Deleting your data
Delete the Sitout app from your iPhone. That removes everything Sitout stored on it. Share cards and files you already sent stay wherever you sent them.
Children
Sitout doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
