How does Statecount count a day?
Any part of a day in a place counts as a day there, using the time zone where you were. A travel day counts for both places. You can edit or delete any day.
Why does automatic logging need "Always" location?
So it can record where you are on days you don't open the app. It uses iOS's low-power visit and significant-change monitoring, not constant GPS, and your location is matched to a state or country on your iPhone. It never leaves your phone. If you'd rather not, use manual mode: tap a place for each day.
Some days say "No place". Why?
Your phone may have been off, out of signal, or location may have been turned off. Tap the day in Calendar and add where you were.
How do I export a report?
Open the Report tab, pick a year and tap Export PDF and CSV (Statecount Pro). The report lists every day, where each record came from and totals per place.
How do I cancel Statecount Pro?
On your iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Statecount. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Is this tax advice?
No. Statecount keeps records. It is not tax or legal advice, and it doesn't know which rules apply to you. Ask a tax professional about your situation.
